Each year UNISCA changes its Board of Directors, and seven new faces take charge of organizing an unforgettable event for 100+ participants from all over the world. UNISCA is a two-week student conference offered by the University of Amsterdam, held annually in the first two weeks of July. Participants will follow interesting lectures on topics that currently occupy the UN in the first week. The participants will apply this knowledge in a highly realistic Model United Nations (MUN) in the second week. UNISCA is the only Dutch student conference that offers participants an academic component combined with a UN simulation (MUN). Because of the academic character of the program, participants can earn 6 ECTS after passing the course. Apart from this, the conference offers social activities for the participants to relax, get to know each other, and explore Amsterdam. These range from picturesque canal cruises to a BBQ in the park and even a trip to Heineken Experience! 

 

Every conference needs a board and at UNISCA this is the Board of Directors. Seven enthusiastic students with various backgrounds cooperate tightly for a year in organizing these awesome two weeks, forging friendships for life.
