Secretary General

As the Secretary General, you are the “face of the conference”. You will lead the Academic Team, ensuring the highest standards of debate and procedure. You are expected to be the primary authority on academic matters, guiding both the Chairing team and the delegates through the conference.

Responsibilities​

  • Rules of Procedure: Revise the Rules of Procedure an present them clearly to delegates.

  • Team Leadership: Maintain constant communication and guidance with the Committee Chairs throughout the conference.

  • Chair all General Assembly meetings.

  • Resolution Quality: Revise all resolution papers made by committees  to ensure they adhere to writing rules and present relevant decisions regarding committee capacity.

  • Crisis Management: Execute the “Crisis Situation” which is a mandatory one-day unexpected event.

Requirements

  • Speaks academic level English

  • Currently enrolled at a university

  • MUN Experience

  • Ability to manage a team

  • Advantage if you have prior experience in a Secretariat role

Deputy Secretary General

The Deputy SG supports the Secretary General in all academic tasks and ensures the smooth operation of the conference.

Responsibilities​

  • Operational Support: Assist the SG in daily tasks, including Rule of Procedure revision and chair communication.

  • Crisis Leadership: Take a leading role in designing and executing the one-day Crisis Situation.

Requirements

  • Speaks academic level English

  • Currently enrolled at a university

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Creative thinking

  • Prior MUN experience is not needed, but preferred

Editor in Chief

As the Editor in Chief, you shape the narrative of the confernece, create compelling publications and lead editorial initaitives in a dynamic, international enviornment. 

Responsibilities​

  • Daily Newspaper: Overseeing the layout and content of the daily newspaper

  • Printing the newspapers daily 

  • Articles: Reviewing the articles submitted by the journalists

  • Providing feedback to the articles submitted by the journalists 

Requirements

  • Speaks academic level English

  • Currently enrolled at a university

  • Strong communication skills

  • Artistic and editing abilities

  • Prior MUN experience is not needed, but preferred

Advocate general

As Advocate-General you will engage extensively with the principles of international law, as well as sharpen your leadership skills and expand your network in the field.

Responsibilities​

  • Finding academic literature in the field of public international law to be used during the sessions.

  • Grading the performance of participants 

  • Leading the moot court sessions in the second week of the conference

Requirements

  • Speaks academic level English

  • Currently enrolled at a university

  • Strong communication and research skills

  • Prior MUN experience is not needed, but preferred

Committee Chairs

We are hiring two chairs per committee. Chairs are the moderators of the debate, your job will be maintaining order and ensuring the committee flows smoothly.

 

Committees: Security Council, Human Rights Council, Disarmament and International Security Committee, Economic and Social Council, the International Court of Justice.

Responsibilities​

  • Debate Management: Lead the debates during committee sessions, ensure fair speaking times and sticking to the agenda.

  • Delegate Support: Guide delegates through the Rules of Procedure.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Secretary General and your co-chair to ensure academic integrity.

Requirements

  • Speaks academic level English

  • Currently enrolled at a university

  • Prior MUN experience is not needed, but preferred
